What is Elo rating?
Elo is a competitive skill score: you earn rating when you win—especially against opponents rated above you—and you lose rating when you are defeated, particularly by lower-rated fighters. Over time it settles into a fair ranking of how often each character wins against the field. In FanCon, ranked battles update Elo for eligible characters; unranked battles are for practice and do not change Elo. See the Elo leaderboard for current standings.
